It’s a beautiful thing!  Each Christmas in Snohomish County the Christmas House non-profit opens its doors with many gift items for the needy families. The parents come and get gifts for their children for free.  These gifts are donated by businesses and individuals.
 
The Everett Sail and Power Squadron is considered a major sponsor of the Christmas House. Since the late 1980’s members have donated new toys to this organization. Beginning in 2015 they began collecting money at the monthly meetings to go toward the purchase of bicycles.  Over $14,568 has been donated by members so far.  That money has been stretched by the Walmart generous discount to purchase over 181 bicycles.  Each year we collect more money and buy more bikes.
