This is a 8 hour face to face course using all the Covid Clean Plan put in place by the State and CDC guidelines. The location is the Blue Heron Room at the Everett Marina. The books will be passed out the week prior. Cost is $60.00 for Member and Non-Member

America’s Boating Club of Snohomish County, will be offering to the public on the fundamentals of recreational boating. The increased knowledge will enhance your safety on the water and your enjoyment of the sport. The course is divided into two types of learning: in-class lectures with reading assignments and homework sections.
The course covers in-depth subjects. Topics include: an introduction to various types of boats, boating laws related to registration, state and local regulation, required safety equipment, accident reporting, protecting the marine environment, weather, and many more subjects of special interest to recreational boaters. The course is designed to familiarize the student with the basics needed to operate a boat safely and comply with state and federal laws. Upon successful completion of the final test, students will qualify for the Washington State Boater Education Card which is required before operating watercraft in our state.
